DATA CENTER AND SERVER MANAGER Central Luzon - San Pablo Malolos City Bulacan Responsibilities: The Data Center and Server Manager or (IT Manager-System) is responsible for all global IT server infrastructure operations within the main and secondary data centers.  This position will work closely with IT stakeholders to ensure that all business applications have a strong IT infrastructure foundation.   The manager will lead a team of system administrators to ensure the data center operations are performing optimally. Manage, mentor and motivate a global team of systems administrators Define and implement a global data center strategy including supporting stores and distribution centers Design and implement a highly reliable systems architecture that requires 24x7 availability Oversee all data center technology operations that include performance, availability, capacity planning, recoverability, root cause determination, and problem resolution. Provide senior-most technical expertise in the discipline of data center management, implementation, operations and support. Direct the development, implementation and administration of processes and procedures to ensure the reliability, recoverability, and optimum performance of infrastructure systems and solutions Partner closely with application teams to ensure success of key business initiatives through the innovative use of technology Develop a high performance staff through education, mentoring and providing continual evaluation of employee development Support the strategic planning process for production systems operations Works closely with and manage strategic outsource and vendor partner relationships Develop and implement metrics that provide performance visibility and transparency into the data center operations Develop and implement a systems monitoring team to increase the reliability of the IT infrastructure Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science;  Advanced degree preferred Five to Ten years of experience managing a high performance data center infrastructure with at least 3 years of experience in a management role Five plus years managing Microsoft Technologies including Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, and Active Directory.  Hands on experience a must. MCSE required Strong conceptual knowledge of network topologies and technologies Expertise with common data center equipment and data center management best practices, familiarity with SAN/NAS technologies and database technologies Demonstrated IT project management experience involving multiple major implementation projects Solid understanding of IT Security best practices Strong knowledge of infrastructure process frameworks such as ISO 27001 and COBIT highly preferred Ability to motivate and lead engineering and operational support groups, with a demonstrated track record of building and maintaining highly collaborative, flexible, and productive teams in a global environment Experience in a retail IT environment, or similar heavy transaction environment Identify, analyze, and drive problems to resolution, handling complex issues simultaneously while effectively communicating across teams High level of accuracy and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal English communication skills Strong leadership skills that inspire team confidence and respect Self-starter - Ability to take on multiple tasks and roles Willing for shifting schedule and extended hours.
