Responsibilities:
  • Assist the project leader and other experts in the roll out of the Aquatic Agricultural Systems Project in the Philippines;
  • Assist in compiling research data; coordinating research activities including and liaising with research partners and stakeholders; and developing data base management system for the project
  • Conduct literature reviews, data sourcing/mining, collation and analysis
  • Assist project leader in the development  and preparation of progress, technical and final reports of the project’s key activities
  • Assist in planning and conducting conferences, workshops, trainings and stakeholder consultations as part of the project design for the roll out of AAS
  • Assist in packaging proposals for both bilateral and international funding for AAS component activities
Requirements:

Responsibilities:

The Data Center and Server Manager or (IT Manager-System) is responsible for all global IT server infrastructure operations within the main and secondary data centers.  This position will work closely with IT stakeholders to ensure that all business applications have a strong IT infrastructure foundation.   The manager will lead a team of system administrators to ensure the data center operations are performing optimally.

  • Manage, mentor and motivate a global team of systems administrators
  • Define and implement a global data center strategy including supporting stores and distribution centers
  • Design and implement a highly reliable systems architecture that requires 24x7 availability
  • Oversee all data center technology operations that include performance, availability, capacity planning, recoverability, root cause determination, and problem resolution.
  • Provide senior-most technical expertise in the discipline of data center management, implementation, operations and support.
  • Direct the development, implementation and administration of processes and procedures to ensure the reliability, recoverability, and optimum performance of infrastructure systems and solutions
  • Partner closely with application teams to ensure success of key business initiatives through the innovative use of technology

  • Five plus years managing Microsoft Technologies including Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, and Active Directory.  Hands on experience a must.
  • MCSE required
  • Strong conceptual knowledge of network topologies and technologies
  • Expertise with common data center equipment and data center management best practices, familiarity with SAN/NAS technologies and database technologies
  • Demonstrated IT project management experience involving multiple major implementation projects
  • Solid understanding of IT Security best practices
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure process frameworks such as ISO 27001 and COBIT highly preferred
